Ecosense Warranty

  1. Warranty Period and Coverage

Ecosense, Inc. ("Ecosense.io") warrants to the original purchaser that its products ("Product") will be free from defects in design, materials, and workmanship, and will substantially conform to its specifications under normal use (the Limited Warranty), for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase or delivery, whichever is later (the “Warranty Period”). 

This Limited Warranty is only for the original end-user purchaser and cannot be transferred or assigned to anyone. It applies to both the Ecosense.io consumer and commercial products.

  1.  Authorized Sellers Clause

Because Ecosense.io cannot control the quality of Product sold by unauthorized sellers, this Limited Warranty only applies to Product purchased directly from Ecosense.io or an Ecosense.io authorized seller unless prohibited by law. Ecosense.io reserves the right to deny warranty claims for Product bought from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized websites and other offline retail stores

  1. Remedy for Valid Claims

If a Product is found to be defective during the Warranty Period and the claim is validated by Ecosense.io, we will, at our sole discretion and within a reasonable timeframe:

  • Replace the Product with a new or refurbished Product of equal or greater value; or

  • Refund the original purchase price.

     4. Exclusions - What is NOT Covered 

 This warranty does not cover:

  • Lost or stolen Product.

  • Accidental damage, including dropping the Product.

  • Defects or damage due to misuse, such as improper installation, placement, operation, handling, or storage that goes against Ecosense.io's instructions.

  • Defects or damage due to negligence, including falls, extreme temperatures, high humidity, or water exposure.

  • Damage from unauthorized repairs or alterations made by anyone other than Ecosense.io.

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Connection issues due to circumstances outside Ecosense.io’s control (e.g., evolving WiFi or Bluetooth standards not supported by the Products).

  • Products used in regions where they are not certified/authorized.

  • Products used for commercial purposes, including leasing to consumers.

  • Products used in violation of our standard terms of service.

  • Damage from unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond Ecosense.io’s control, including but not limited to, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, or fault/negligence of the purchaser or any third party.

  • Products not fully paid for with valid proof of purchase from Ecosense.io or an Ecosense.io authorized seller.

  1. Proof of Purchase

A valid proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim. Acceptable proof includes:

  • Order number, receipt, or invoice from an online purchase through Ecosense.io; or

  • A dated receipt/invoice from an authorized Ecosense.io seller, containing the Product description and price.

  1. Warranty Claim Process (Return Material Authorization - RMA)

To initiate a warranty claim, please email support@ecosense.io with the following information:

  • Full name, address, phone number, and email address

  • Preferred contact method

  • Brief description of the defect

  • Purchase date and location

  • Valid proof of purchase

Upon review, Ecosense.io will issue a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number if the claim is accepted. Products must not be returned without prior authorization.

Return the Product, along with your RMA number and proof of purchase, to:

  1. Limitation of Liability

This Limited Warranty is the only warranty provided by Ecosense.io for the Product. Any implied warranties, such as merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this express Limited Warranty.

Ecosense.io will not be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from a breach of this Limited Warranty, breach of contract, or strict liability.

Please note: Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion/limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary by state or province.

  1. Consumer Protection Legislation

Your rights under applicable consumer protection legislation are in addition to this standard Limited Warranty.
