“Everyone who is serious about being in the radon business needs these trackers. They are awesome and make my life so much easier."
- Tom Weber, Alder Creek Radon Gas Pros, Canada
“I take EcoTracker with me to non-radon appointments, so I can place it and show homeowners that they do have radon and pique their interest in having radon service added."
- David Lawson, Lawson Home Services
“My favourite part is that you have four detectors to set around the house and get assurance that you are heading in the right direction. EcoTracker gives me confidence that when I leave, the mitigation system is going to work."
- Jesse Green, American Radon Mitigation
“With 5-minute sniff mode, I can run a quick comparison check, as I'm looking for radon sources.”
- Henri Boyea, Radon Control Products
“If you've got a difficult house, or a homeowner who's not convinced, with EcoTracker you can show them what their radon levels are throughout the house quickly - it's a great tool for us."
- Curt Drew, Radon Defence Midwest
“People want to hire somebody who has the tools. EcoTracker is great for demonstration, you can show homeowners that what you're doing has a real impact."
- Mike Leggett, Radon Control Products
“My favourite part is that you have 4 of them to set around the house and get assurance that you are heading in the right direction. It gives me confidence that when I leave, the mitigation system is going to work."
- Jesse Green, American Radon Mitigation
“I like that I can see all 4 devices corresponding with one another, on one screen”
- Merritt Gantt, True Air Technologies
A Fast Radon Hotspot Locator

EcoTracker in Action: Professional Radon Hotspot Diagnostics
In this episode, a certified radon mitigator deployed EcoTracker to measure radon levels in four basement locations simultaneously. The diagnostic data helped identify areas with the highest radon concentrations and support the strategic placement of suction points.
At Ecosense, we revolutionize radon detection with advanced ionization chamber technology and a specialized sensor. Our system accurately identifies radon decay signals within 10 minutes, cutting through background noise with precision comparable to professional devices. With continuous monitoring, we track fluctuating radon levels to proactively safeguard your indoor air quality every day.

The EcoTracker package includes four EcoTracker radon monitors, a carrying bag, four power adapters, four DC extension cables, and four step-up cables.
EcoTracker uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to communicate directly with the EcoTracker mobile app. No Wi-Fi, cellular connection, or internet access is required to view readings and manage devices while on-site.
The app allows you to monitor and compare all four EcoTracker detectors simultaneously, view historical data, and analyze radon trends from a single dashboard.
Using four monitors simultaneously provides a more complete picture of radon distribution throughout a property. This helps professionals identify hotspots faster, optimize mitigation system design, and reduce diagnostic time.
The EcoTracker is designed for a service life of approximately 5 years. Actual lifespan may vary depending on operating conditions, usage, and maintenance.
EcoTracker offers three monitoring modes:
5-Minute Sniff Mode for rapid hotspot diagnostics 10-Minute Sniff Mode for short-term evaluation Continuous Radon Monitoring (CRM) Mode for long-term measurements and data logging
Sniff Modes (5- and 10-minute) are designed for rapid diagnostics and hotspot identification. Continuous Monitoring (CRM) Mode is intended for longer-term measurements, storing hourly averages for professional testing and analysis.
With firmware version 1.03A or later, the EcoTracker averages each 5-minute reading as data is collected. After six data points have been recorded, the device transitions to a 30-minute moving average for improved stability and trend analysis.
With firmware version 1.03A or later, the EcoTracker averages each 10-minute reading as data is collected. After three data points have been recorded, the device transitions to a 30-minute moving average for improved stability and trend analysis.
Data storage capacity varies by monitoring mode:
5-Minute Sniff Mode: Up to 1 month 10-Minute Sniff Mode: Up to 2 months Continuous Monitoring Mode: Up to 1 year of hourly data
Yes. EcoTracker is well suited for vacant homes, new construction, pre-mitigation diagnostics, and other locations where internet access may not be available. The system communicates through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and does not require Wi-Fi.
Yes. EcoTracker can help verify system performance, compare multiple locations, and monitor how radon levels respond to system adjustments while on-site.
No. EcoTracker requires a 12V power input and does not include an internal battery backup.
For portable operation, the device can be powered by a standard 5V battery pack when used with a compatible 5V-to-12V step-up cable. The required connector size is 5.5 mm × 2.1 mm.
Typical battery life: 20 Ah battery pack: approximately 72 hours 30 Ah battery pack: approximately 105 hours
