Returns & Refunds
We offer returns and refunds within 30 days of the original purchase date. You will be responsible for paying for the postage fees for returning your item. If the device is defective, you will receive a full refund, and the return shipping fees will be paid by Ecosense.

Ecosense Limited Warranty

Application
This limited warranty applies to all products offered by Ecosense referred to herein as (the “Products”).

The Ecosense limited warranty is available to an original purchaser only who purchases a Product from Ecosense authorized sellers and distributors within North America (U.S. and Canada). The Ecosense limited warranty does not apply to Products re-sold on the Internet and outside North America (U.S. and Canada). This limited warranty does not extend to any subsequent owner or transferee of the Product or any transferee or other beneficiary of any service provided by Ecosense. In addition, unless authorized by Ecosense, this limited warranty does not extend to a purchaser’s customers, agents, or representatives, or to other third parties for whom the Product is purchased. You should consider purchasing Ecosense Products directly from our website or you can contact us to confirm if a seller or distributor is authorized to sell our Product. A list of authorized sellers is available from Ecosense. This limited warranty does not cover the Products offered by Ecosense to the extent they are used in any country other than the country to which Ecosense ships its Products to, unless Ecosense expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

Proof of Purchase
In order to obtain coverage under this limited warranty, you must retain your original proof of purchase that contains the seller’s details, shows the date of your purchase, a description of the Product purchased and the price that you paid. 

Limited Warranty
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary by country, state, and province. Ecosense warrants that its Products shall substantially conform to its Product specifications and be free from defects in design, materials, and workmanship; provided, that, the Products are used as specified. This limited warranty shall be effective for a period of twelve (12) months, calculated from the later of the date of purchase or delivery if ordered on the Internet. This limited warranty does not extend to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose or use, irrespective of whether such purpose or use has been communicated by the purchaser to Ecosense, or any warranty arising from a course of dealing. The Ecosense Products are detection and monitoring products only and do not avoid or reduce the occurrence of events they are designed to detect. The Ecosense Products will not avoid or mitigate the consequences of such occurrences. This limited warranty provided in no way affects a potential statutory warranty provided by law. To make a claim under this limited warranty please contact Ecosense directly.

Ecosense shall, at its sole option and within reasonable time, either:

  • Repair the Product at its sole expense.
  • Replace the defective Product.
  • Provide a refund for the defective or non-conforming Product. 

A purchaser shall not be entitled to put forth any other remedy or claim related to defective or non-conforming Products at its own initiative.

Exclusions Under the Limited Warranty
No coverage is provided under this limited warranty for any repairs conducted by an unauthorized dealer. In addition, no limited warranty is provided for the following: 

  • Any Product not purchased from an authorized seller or distributor.
  • Lost or stolen Products.
  • Products that have expired their twelve-month warranty period.
  • Issues not related to quality after 30 days of purchase.
  • Free Products.
  • Damage from misuse of the Product not in accordance with the Product User’s Guide (including, but not limited to inadequate wiring, improper installation, improper maintenance, falls, extreme temperatures and water damage).
  • Ordinary wear and tear.
  • Acts of God.

Limited Liability
This limited warranty constitutes the entire liability of Ecosense towards the purchaser with regard to defective or non-conforming Products. A purchaser is not entitled to pursue any other claim or remedy related to defective or non-conforming Products otherwise available under applicable law, legislation or statutes relating to sale of Products.

Ecosense’s maximum liability towards a purchaser whether based on, applicable law, statutes, tort law or otherwise, and irrespective of Ecosenses’ conduct, shall in any and all events be limited to an amount equal to the purchase price paid by the purchaser of the Product or value of the disputed Product, whichever is lower.

Ecosense shall not be liable to the purchaser whether or not foreseeable, for any lost profits, loss of reputation or goodwill, claims of third parties or any indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages, whatsoever, whether based upon breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, strict liability or other legal theory. Applicable law in some jurisdictions may not allow the exclusion or limitation of some or all of these types of damages, so the above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. In all such cases, the above exclusions or limitations will apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Ecosense has the right to update this limited warranty at any time.
