Is Your Family Safe from Radon Exposure?
Radon is the top cause of lung cancer in non-smokers, leading to 21,000 U.S. deaths annually. Exposure at 4 pCi/L is like smoking 8 cigarettes a day. With 1 in 15 homes affected and radon levels constantly fluctuating, continuous monitoring is crucial for safety.
Radon Fluctuation and Why You Need the Right Solution
Recognizing that radon levels fluctuate all the time, relying solely on a one-time radon test, such as a traditional charcoal test kit with a single measurement result, can be misleading as it fails to capture fluctuations that occur, for instance, during nighttime or rainy days.
Radon Testing Is Not a One-Time Measurement
Radon Levels Fluctuate Every Day
Radon Levels Fluctuate from Season to Season
Radon Testing Requires Ongoing Attention
Ignoring seasonal radon changes can significantly increase lung cancer risk due to prolonged high exposure

EcoBlu is expected to have a service life of 5 years but this depends on usage conditions, wear and tear, etc.
The operating temperature range of EcoBlu is 32°F ~ 104°F and Relative Humidity < 80%.
Place EcoBlu at least 20 inches (50 cm) above the floor and from the wall. Do not place EcoBlu close to open windows or vents and keep it away from high heat and high humidity. Install at least 24 inches (61 cm) away from Wi-Fi routers and hotspot devices that may affect electromagnetic interference (EMI) on your device.
Press the M button on the back of the device for 10 seconds to enter the factory reset mode. A factory reset will erase data from your device and reset device settings to its original system state.
Please make sure if you Install the device at least 24 inches (61 cm) away from Wi-Fi routers and hotspot devices that may affect electromagnetic interference (EMI) on your device. If this is not the case, you may want to check if your device works well by running the test outside, for example, on the patio or backyard. Place your device avoiding direct sunlight and soil blown in the wind, when it’s not rainy or stormy. Also, place it 20 inches away from the floor or ground and the walls. You must keep it running for over an hour. If radon levels go over 1pCi/L, your device could be defective. Please contact the Ecosense support team.
EPA recommends homes be fixed if the radon level is 4 pCi/L (picocuries per liter) or more. Because there is no known safe level of exposure to radon, EPA also recommends that Americans consider fixing their home for radon levels between 2 pCi/L and 4 pCi/L.
Readings are automatically reset in real-time(R), weekly(W) and monthly(M) mode when the device is powered off. However, in long-term monitoring mode, the last reading will be displayed and radon readings will not be deleted until the device is manually reset.
When you move the device and start measuring in a different location, the device resets in R, W, and M modes, and you can get new readings. However, since data is continuously saved in long-term monitoring mode, it is recommended to reset the data before starting measurements after moving to another location.
