Emphasizing the 48-hour average is to eliminate calls from clients who may needlessly worry and complain about the concentration for a single hour.
The mitigator can be comfortable sharing the mobile app with clients because their focus will be on the 2-day average instead of the reading for a single hour.
48-hour Clearance Test Report
EcoGuard enables the mitigator to perform both the initial short-term clearance test AND continued long-term surveillance with the same device.
Since the short-term clearance test data can be accessed remotely, the test report can be generated and delivered without having to return to the house.
EcoGuard as an Active Alert Monitor
Pressure sensor alerts have audible alarms that irritate homeowners – EcoGuard sends a push notification.
Dust sucked inside the tube of a pressure sensor alert can trigger the alarm. Pressure sensor alerts only sound if the fan quits working; an active fan does not necessarily mean it’s controlling the radon.

“I think it’s a phenomenal idea! It’s a great way for you to add additional services to your business and connect with your customers on an ongoing basis, so you turn a customer into a client. You have an ongoing revenue stream and they also have peace of mind knowing you’re monitoring their level for them and if there’s ever an issue they are in good hands - you’re going to take care of it.” - Bryan Coy, 5280 Radon Mitigation

Both devices have the same sensor and sensitivity. The hardware performance is the same, but the supporting software is different. The subscription service allows professionals to manage their devices, data, and clients from a web dashboard. It also provides detailed radon data and trends to help radon professionals analyze and diagnose radon data.
If you would like to share your radon data and trends with your client, you can invite clients through the device users menu in the mobile app. Clients receive an invitation and download an app to check their radon levels.
Yes, please go to https://www.dashboard.ecosense.io/ and click on the device you want to change and select “24hrs mode” under the Radon menu.
In order to see the radon reading, please activate the subscription service first. You can change the subscription status to “Activate” in the Dashboard > Select Device > Radon menu. If you select the 24-hour monitoring mode, the first data is available after 24 data points have been collected.
A monthly radon report is automatically available 30 days after each device is activated. You can also generate the report from the “Radon report” menu by selecting the device and measurement period. Once the report is generated, you can download the report as a PDF and email it.
